The CA Final course is the final stage of the Chartered Accountancy program in India, designed to provide aspiring Chartered Accountants with advanced knowledge and practical skills essential for professional success. This course consists of two groups, each comprising four papers that cover a broad spectrum of subjects. Group I includes Financial Reporting, which focuses on preparing financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and IFRS; Strategic Financial Management, which deals with financial decision-making and risk management; Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics, covering auditing principles and ethical guidelines; and Corporate and Economic Laws, which explores the legal framework governing businesses. Group II features Advanced Management Accounting, emphasizing management decision-making techniques; Information Systems Control and Audit, which highlights the role of IT in accounting; Direct Tax Laws, covering income tax regulations; and Indirect Tax Laws, focusing on GST and other indirect taxation frameworks. To be eligible for this course, candidates must pass the CA Intermediate exams and complete 2.5 years of articleship. The exams are held biannually, and candidates must achieve a minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in a group to pass.
